EvaGreenTM是新一代的綠色熒光核酸染料。它的諸多特點使它可以用于多種應用,包括:qPCR,高分辨率DNA熔解曲線(HRM)分析,常規的DNA定量以及毛細管電泳。Biotium的研發團隊綜合染料的穩定性、安全性、光譜特性等開發出優于SYBR? Green I和其它商品化qPCR或者HRM染料的EvaGreenTM。

EvaGreenTM由于降低了細胞膜透性,因而比SYBRTM Green I更加安全。獨立實驗室的測試結果顯示,EvaGreenTM既沒有誘變性也沒有細胞毒性。相反,雖然SYBRTM Green I本身誘變性很弱,但由于它在可能細胞中抑制了正常DNA的修復機制,使其有誘變增強作用??紤]到PCR的廣泛使用,其安全性應該被足夠重視。
穩定性:
EvaGreenTM的穩定性極強。在正常的儲存、操作和PCR過程中不會被破壞。在緩沖溶液中的染料可以安全的儲存在室溫或冰箱里,也可以反復凍融。與之相反,SYBRTM Green I不穩定而且降解后對PCR抑制性更強。
光譜兼容性:
EvaGreen? 染料具有和 FAM 或 SYBR? Green I相似的光譜,毋須改變條件即可替換。
Biotium offers EvaGreen? Master Mixes for qPCR and melt-curve analysis. Fast EvaGreen? Master Mix is our original formulation, suitable for most qPCR applications. Fast Plus EvaGreen? Master Mix is a newer formulation designed to minimize mis-priming and to be more tolerant of PCR inhibitors. Biotium’s probe master mixes do not contain DNA-binding dye, and are designed for use with oligo-based probes such as TaqMan? or MGB probes. Biotium’s master mixes feature Cheetah? Taq, our proprietary chemically-modified hot-start DNA polymerase. Unlike AmpliTaq Gold?, which takes 10 minutes or longer to activate, Cheetah? Taq is fully recovered in 2 minutes with high activity, making it particularly suitable for fast PCR. Mixes are available with or without ROX reference dye, and in low cost trial sizes.
