About Us

Rachel Garcia started Skin Solutions MD in September 2008 after seven years working as a Physician Assistant in the Dermatology and Plastic Surgery fields. Rachel began following the medical studies done on skincare early in her career. As the years went by she began to formulate her own favorite products based on what the medical studies showed worked and didn't work to treat different ailments of the skin.

Rachel says that as a mother of two young children, owner of a business, and healthcare provider seeing large amounts of patients every day, "I don't have time to put products on my skin that do not work". So she has dedicated her time to research and stay on top of the products introduced daily to the skincare world to know what works and what does not.

This store is a result of that knowledge, Rachel has hand picked every item on this site, if it is not good or does not do what it claims to do, if there are no medical studies backing it up, it will not be sold by Skin Solutions MD.
